Walk You To Wealth Thanksgiving Edition

I started Walk You To Wealth one year ago with the following business plan:

  • Help people

That was it. There wasn't some grand plan or 40-page business document. It started with a simple methodology to help people build wealth, which turned into a book, and then eventually a company.

I wanted to take a few moments to discuss some of the business related items that I'm grateful for:

  1. Family: This business wouldn't exist without a supportive family. I've always been willing to bet on myself and fortunately, I'm convincing enough to have my kids and wife believe in me too.

  2. Clients: I am truly grateful and appreciative for every client. I never take it lightly that someone is willing to spend their hard earned money to pay for this service and also to trust me with their financial situation. Connecting with genuine people who are trying to build real wealth is by far the best part of the job!

  3. Wealthramp: One night I sent a random email to Wealthramp, a financial advisor matching service, discussing Walk You To Wealth. A few days later, I was having a conversation with their CEO, Pam Krueger which has changed everything. Pam's mission is pretty similar to mine and she was willing to adjust her algorithm to help more people find a qualified financial planner. Wealthramp and Pam have also connected me with Tiffany Aliche, the Budgetnista, which has been a terrific expansion of our partnership to help even more people have access to a Certified Financial Planner.

  4. Social Media: I didn't use social media prior to starting Walk You To Wealth and I never thought I'd be thankful for it, but I've made some great connections on X and have had the opportunity to join a few podcasts as well.

  5. Money Bag: While I was working at Coinbase, we were encouraged to experiment with crypto as a way to learn more. As part of that learning process, I purchased this Non-fungible Token (NFT) with no other intention than increasing my knowledge about NFTs. After paying for a logo design through Fiverr, I later swapped out the logo that was created for this NFT, which has become a huge part of my company's identity:
