New Year, Same Financial Problems

At the stroke of midnight the ball will drop, champagne will be sipped, and a new year will begin, but all of your financial problems will still exist. These problems tend to cause financial stress and anxiety which can ruin your physical and mental health as well as your relationships.

So as you rest and rehydrate on the couch this New Year's Day, it's a great time to set up an appointment that can change your financial future. For example, my clients will be working through a myriad of goals next year, including:

  • Creating emergency funds

  • Paying off credit card debt

  • Earning more money

  • Investing for the first time

  • Buying their first home

Some of these are incredibly boring, such as an emergency fund, and they all require time and sacrifice, but what makes it possible is that they won't do it alone. As their financial planner, I will be connect with them every month, and in some cases more frequently, because life doesn't happen on a monthly schedule. Most importantly, we will also have a few laughs along the way, because if you aren't enjoying your financial journey, then you won't make it past the first few steps.
